SYNCHRONICITY

A couple of weeks ago, while traveling in LA for business, I had the delight of experiencing Synchronicity. You know, when time, space and situations align so that you’re in the right place, the right time for something unexpected and wonderful to happen – that’s Synchronicity.

Peter and I had a quick trip to Los Angeles to do some business. We flew in from New Mexico, had our first appointment and then decided we needed to eat. We were in Santa Monica, California and with so many choices of great places, we couldn’t decide. Finally Peter said, “They have pie” and pointed to “Sweet Lady Jane” a sweet shop specializing in fine desserts. All the times we’ve been here, we never noticed this cute place or ate there.

Sweet Lady Jane is great. I highly recommend this place! The coffee is the best and the pastries are amazing. I’ve included some pix of the place and staff .

Minutes after we sat down, Peter got out of his chair and called out, “Hi, Leigh!”

My dear friend Leigh walked through the door. I haven’t seen her in a while and we were all excited and delighted to be together. We were laughing about this surprise meeting and I told her about our indecision and all the extra driving, until finally we landed here. She laughed even more. She told us she loves this place and there comes often. But this day, she missed the exit. She missed the exit, had to turn around and get back on the highway to get off the right exit.
