A couple of days ago I was hanging out with two great guys and great friends of mine, Jon Stewart and Tavis Smiley. These two men just delight me. I hang out with them all the time. I love people who are bright, fun and intelligent and who have big hearts. Whether it’s their wit and brilliance, their passion, their unique and vibrant interests or their secret smiles, I just love them. They are in my home all the time and I am so glad to have them in my life.

Tavis Smiley brings his passion and joy into my home. I love this guy’s laugh. You can see that his joy and heart drive him. His eyes light up. When he interviews artists, you can see their soul shine and you can see how much Tavis loves the arts and the artists. Of course, he is politically astute, brings forward brilliant perspectives and he also introduces a deep passion for those who deserve to be acknowledged. Continue reading
